Structure Fire a Total Loss

On March 25, 2013, The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office received a report of a structure fire at 15520 K-16 Highway, Oskaloosa, Kansas. This is the former site of Robbins Salvage. When officers arrived on scene, the metal building on the property was fully involved in fire. The building was currently being used to restore autos. The State Fire Marshall was called to determine the cause of the fire. The building and its contents were a total loss.
Jefferson County Emergency Management, Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services, Oskaloosa Fire Department, McLouth Fire Department, Ozawkie Fire Department, Winchester Fire Department and Rural Fire Department, responded to the fire scene.
