Two Arrested on Marijuana Grow

On September 28th, 2013, hunter’s reported what they believed to be a “weed grow” on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ground at the lower Ferguson Marsh in Valley Falls, Kansas. A Kansas Wildlife and Parks Officer met with the hunters and viewed the marijuana field. The Kansas Wildlife and Parks Officer determined that the marijuana field discovered was not wild, but was in fact a cultivated grow. The Kansas Wildlife and Parks Officer requested assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on this investigation.
During the following week officers spent several hours watching the marijuana field.
On Friday, October 4th, 2013, at dark two officers, one from the Kansas Wildlife and Parks, and one from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, were watching the marijuana field, when they noticed two lights coming towards the field. The officers observed two men cutting the marijuana stalks down, and placing them in bags. The two officers eventually made themselves known and arrested both men.
The two men that were arrested are:
- Jeremiah Jacob Teller DOB: 02.13.1975 of Pamona, Kansas and
- Michael Todd Fuller DOB: 07.02.1963 of Savannah, Missouri
Both men have been booked into the Jefferson County Jail on the following charges:
*Unlawful Cultivation or Distribution of a Controlled Substance
*Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances
*Unlawful Possession of Certain Drug Precursors and Paraphernalia
*Distribute or Possession with Intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia
*No Drug Tax Stamp
Jeremiah Jacob Teller is being held on a $100,000.00 Own Recognizance Bond,
Michael Todd Fuller is being held on a $100,000.00 Cash/Surety Bond
