Search Warrant Served East of Lake Perry

At approximately 8:30 am on September 4,2014, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office along with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, The Corp of Engineers, The Kansas Wildlife and Parks and Tourism,  The Jefferson County Ambulance, and MORAD's helicopter;  served a search warrant at a residence located at  5335 Marion Road, in  rural Jefferson County on Corps of Engineers property east of Lake Perry.   MORAD stands for Missouri National Guard Counter Drug Unit.

Seized from the residential property were several items of drug paraphernalia.  Seized from the Corps of Engineers property was 9,800 marijuana plants which were being watered from the residential property.

Arrested from the residence was Terrance Lee Breason.   Breason was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 11:43 am,    and bonded out at 12:40 pm on $10,000.00 Cash/Surety.

Breason was booked in on the following offenses:

21.5709.b.2:  Use/Possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body

21.5705.a.4:  Distribute certain hallucinogens

21.5706.b3:  Possession of certain hallucinogenic drugs

21.5710.b.e2.A:  Distribute or possess with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia  for illegal use

79.5204:  No drug tax stamp for marijuana or cont substance
