Shooting in Rural Perry

On Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at approximately 10:55 pm, Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to 2615 Ellsworth Road in rural Perry for a domestic dispute that resulted in a shooting.
48 year old, Carl Kester II was arrested for Aggravated Battery, for shooting his stepson; 27 year old Brian Manis with a shotgun. Brian Manis was transported to St. Francis Hospital by private vehicle before Deputies arrived.
